My neighbor, and hag extraordinaire, had a simple knee surgery yesterday. Originally she would be on crutches for 3 days, and be fine. Well, there were complications. She is now going to be on crutches for 6 weeks. Those of you who know Laura will understand that she is miserable. No horses, no riding, no nothing.
