Chicago Trip Day 1

Hey ya'll. Well we had an interesting yesterday in Chi-Town. It started with us waking up in BFE Indiana at a horrible Holiday Inn where we slept (or tried to sleep) on a rock slab of a bed. Then as we approached the city, the Dan Ryan expressway is apparently under construction. So we sat, moved and inch, sat some more, moved another inch. After moving 3 or 4 inches and 1/2 hour later, we decided to get off the highway and make our way downtown.

We ended up taking a tour of Cabrini Green, better known as the projects. We did manage to stop at a Mcd's and find a sweet old black man who gave us direction, telling me not to stop or detour in anyway. Well we successfully made it without seeing a murder or drive by. it was a good move, we reached the hotel in less than hour after leaving the highway. we'd probably still be sitting there.

We ate at Frontera Grill last night. Actually we drank at Frontera Grill. 3 margaritas each and some appetizers. MMMMmmm. We are going back tonight to eat an actual meal and drink some more of course. We went out last night as well. I was drunk (surprise surprise). But we tuckered out by midnight. We are either old or just tired of the bar scene. I would like to think the latter is true, but I have a feeling both are true.

Tomorrow is Madonna. WEEeeeeeeEEEEeeee!! (that is a high pitched squeal that only dogs and gay guys can hear). I'll post again tomorrow.
