Brokeback Mountain

Happy New Year everyone! Tim and I went to see 'Brokeback Mountain' this afternoon. I have to say that it will probably win every award, including the Oscar for Best Picture, and Heath Ledger should win best actor easily. It is a tough movie to sit through. Unrequited love that can never fully happen, gay bashing, loveless marriages, and living lives that are not full. I cried at the end as most of the people in the theater did. Go see it. It will make you feel lucky that you can be with the person you love. Even if we can't marry legally, I can still be with my Tim, and not have to hide it. Hopefully the President will see this. Maybe he will finally show us that he has a heart. I know, I know, quit dreaming.
